Aaron Neville - the Voice of an Angel Aaron Neville, though now in his sixties, has retained his trademark voice with its unbelievable tremolo/vibrato and impressive range. Aaron started out singing country music and had an early bestselling record. Over time he has matured into a singer who can sing blues, soul and country with ease. I first heard Aaron on a television program that I was listening to while I was doing something else. I heard an angel singing Amazing Grace, turned to face the screen and saw this tall, Afro-American guy, tattooed and looking very staunch. The voice and the person were incongruous. The next morning I rushed out and purchased all the Aaron Neville and Neville Brothers recordings I could find. That was nearly 20 years ago and I have been adding to my collection everytime a new album is released. If you have never heard him go out and buy one of his albums, Devotion is my favorite, and see what you think. I went to a live concert and was blown away by hearing Aaron Neville and the Neville Brothers singing live, it was one of the great evenings of my life.
