Reading for Fun Read for pleasure, read for enlightenment, read for entertainment, just read. You don't need to be a literary critic to enjoy literature. Too many people read books/paper or watch videos/DVDs about a book instead of reading the book, the primary source, itself. Get out from under the academic yoke and enjoy reading for readings sake. Not every story has a moral, sign, motif etc; some are written to entertain and inform. The academic establishment has killed the joy of reading for many students.
