Having Fun with a SatNav Device Have you ever used a SatNav device? These nifty devices connect to a satellite and using GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) technology. The Satnav device usually has maps loaded that will give you directions (on screen or vocal or both)on how to get to where you want to go. SatNavs work best in built up areas - I say this from experience in navigating around Greece with one. When in Athens the device was brilliant. When we were on a goat track 100km inland from Patras it was a lot more challenging as the device did not have all the subsidiary roads and goat tracks listed. So my advice is get a SatNav when you are traveling around unknown areas, but when you are going into the back of beyond take a map as well. We had a lot of fun and a few arguments while traveling through Greece, but overall I loved the device and would recommend you try one.
