My Sunday Morning Coffee

Yesterday morning I jumped out of bed, got showered and dressed and headed off for my Sunday morning Cappucino fix. All the snow and ice had gone but it was still cold. Apart from the temperature it was a pleasant day and I enjoyed the stroll to the coffee shop. I walked in to the shop, full of bonhomie, ordered my coffee and gave the girl my credit card - that is where the fun began. I should of known from previous visits that the coffee shop only accepts cash. Guess what? I had no cash so I asked where the nearest ATM was. The girl gave me directions and I set off. At the ATM, I whistled while I waited for the person in front of me to finish his transaction. I popped my card in, entered all the details only to be told that the machine would not accept Mastercard it only took Visa. Oh well... I walked home caffeine free, well exercised, and had a coffee at home instead. Moral of the Story - carry cash for coffee. |

And to think I thought the moral was to be Caffeine free and well exercised carry Mastercard . Or If at first you don't succeed find another ATM Or possibly American Espresso won't get you coffee.

The lesson could be, have coffee at home, it cost less and then go for your walk.
